Can I have a wire spine on my A6 booklet?
Yes, we offer a Wiro Bound booklet that uses a spiral wire as the spine. These come in 3 different colours, Black, Silver, or White. A Wiro Bound is great for notebooks or workbooks where you need to open the pages flat on to a table to write on.
Can I create a notebook style book that I can write on?
We have a range of paper materials for the inner pages. The best material to write on is 100gsm uncoated. Writing on this paper is much better that paper that has been treated with a lamination. Is using a ballpoint pen, the ink sticks to the material and is perfect to write on.
What is the minimum quantity of A6 Perfect Bound Booklets that you can manufacture?
Perfect Bounds are truly flexible, as you can order as low as 1 booklet. This is great if you are creating a one-off book just for yourself, or you are looking to run a test order through to see the quality before ordering a larger quantity.
Is it easy to design artwork for a Saddle Stitch booklet?
Making an artwork file for a saddle stitch booklet could not be simpler. We require the artwork as a combined PDF, running from front page to back page. Each page should be designed to A6 size.
I’m wanting an A6 book, but landscape. Can this be done?
Unfortunately, not. The short edge of an A6 page is too small and weak to hold a booklet together. We offer a portrait size that has a longer spine and holds the pages together easier.
I’m looking to make a tourist book that people can easily carry around with them. What’s the best option?
If you need a book that can be carried around and has less risk of damage from being repeatedly opened and closed, then you might want to consider the Perfect Bound option. This binding style uses glue instead of staples on the spine, which makes it more resistant to wear and tear than stapled options.
