Perfect bound books are a popular print that delivers a sleek, professional appearance for your publications. Ideal for a variety of books—including novels, catalogues, magazines, and more—perfect bound books offer a high-quality finish that stands out. The clean, polished appearance makes perfect bound books an attractive choice for both businesses and individuals seeking premium book printing. Perfect bound books are designed to be robust, ensuring pages remain intact and the spine holds up well over time. These books are easy to read and handle, laying nearly flat without the risk of pages falling out, providing a seamless reading experience.
Recommendation - To prevent marks on spines with full ink coverage, we recommend applying a lamination to your perfect bound.

Perfect bound booklets have gained significant popularity in both creative and professional industries due to their lavish cover materials and impeccable precision finish. This premium binding method is perfect for brochures, catalogues, magazines, and any publication with a substantial number of pages.
How are perfect bound books made?
Our perfect bound books are produced through a two-step process. First, the inner pages are grouped together, while the outer cover is printed separately. These elements are then seamlessly combined by gluing the inner pages to the inside of the cover at the spine. The result is a sturdy and long-lasting structure capable of withstanding extensive use.
Tailor your perfect bound booklets to suit your specific needs and branding preferences:
For best results, especially with covers featuring heavy ink coverage, we recommend lamination. Lamination protects the cover from potential marking due to ink transfer or friction during transit or storage. Choose from options like the durable Soft Touch or the elegant Matt lamination.

Artwork Submission:
1. Submit Two Files:
For example, for a 40-page brochure, supply an inner PDF of 36 pages and a cover PDF of two pages (page 1 is the outside cover spread, and page 2 is the inside cover spread).

Lamination Recommendation:
We recommend adding lamination to the cover pages for protection. During production, the spine is glued to the inner pages using a clamp, which may cause scuffing or printer marks around the spine area and any other heavy ink coverage area on the cover.
If lamination is not desired, reduce graphics or background colours crossing into the outer and inner spine area.
