What's the best material for luxury business cards?
If you are looking for top quality printed business cards on quality stocks then you are looking at having a heavy card stock. Choose something thick & weighty, add Spot UV for some elegant texture or some foiling for shine and contrast. Triple core cards are lovely and thick with a coloured core for consistent branding and pearlescent business cards add a subtle shimmer.
How to make business cards look expensive
- Choose a thick stock
- Choose a minimal design and do not overcrowd the card
- Choose some texture or contrast such as Spot UV, Pearlescent shimmer, foiling or a textured card.
Are thicker business cards worth it?
They are but it depends on the purpose. A thicker card subconsciously suggests success and elegance (we don't make the rules, it's a perception thing)
If you're looking to use a business card for a different purpose such as for a membership card, loyalty card or appointment card then you do want to choose something that lasts. A thicker card is less flimsy and therefore a premium card might be your best option.
