As Finance Director, you will report to the Managing Director and be an integral member of the Leadership Team, driving Tradeprint’s growth towards our 2030 Strategic Vision. We’re seeking a people-centric leader to oversee core functions, including finance, payroll, procurement, and costing.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor robust financial systems and controls and encourage automation.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning process at both a corporate and local level.
  • Support senior teams to create growth strategies and plans coordinating funding and calculating ROI as appropriate.
  • Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Advise the MD and Leadership Team on all matters relating to financial performance in specific areas against forecast and identify opportunities for cost reduction as appropriate.
  • Lead and motivate the finance team
  • Control all financial and accountancy matters including month end reports, management accounts, cash flow management, statutory accounts, compliance, presentation of management information and KPIs
  • Work closely with procurement to strengthen financial efficiency and risk management.
  • Ensure the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in a similar role and have:

  • Exceptional commercial acumen and business knowledge
  • A data driven approach with strong experience using Excel to deep dive into trends within the data to help frame analysis and narration.
  • Outstanding communication skills with people at all levels and an ability to influence
  • A pro-active, decisive, adaptable nature
  • The ability to maintain resilience during periods with high levels of pressure
  • Fully qualified (CA, CIMA, ACCA) with 3 years+ operating at a senior level

 

It would be great if they brought:

  • Experience of ecommerce, manufacturing, retail or a similar industry
  • Proven success in navigating complex or matrixed organizational structures
  • Experience of Netsuite accounting software.

This role is a permanent, full-time role, based in our Dundee Head Office on a hybrid basis (50%)..
